My Role
Part of my role at Alarm.com included acting as the lead UX designer for their subsidiary, SecurityTrax, a CRM tool for security system dealers. Tasked with creating features to streamline technician management, the aim was to assist dealers in organizing routes, inventory, equipment installations, and scheduling for their technicians.

User Needs
User needs included features like displaying daily routes, appointment times, travel distances, and listing the necessary equipment for the day’s installations.
Feedback from customers provided insights into their pain points, particularly regarding the typical workflow of technicians. This informed the need for a simple, mobile-accessible interface to manage daily responsibilities.

Early phases of this project addressed technician routes and inventory management, and eventually expanded to include scheduling and management of employee time.
